Welcome!

Hi Guys!
Welcome to my blog. I'll be using it to stay in touch with you, as well a forum to exchange ideas -- pizza related, and otherwise. So, feel free comment on any of my postings. But remember that this is a PG-13 blog, so let's keep it civil. Other than that, the sky's the limit.

Also, don't forget to to visit my website at www.bigdaveostrander.com to get a few business tips, read some of my articles, and download some freebies.

  2. Hey Big Dave, I have been a fan of yours for over 10 year. stephen Millar from Australia. I would love to see you empower your knowledge down here in the Pizza Industry some time. If I had the money I would bring you down myself. Your a great guy for this industry. Pizza is still young in Australia now also I have noticed in China. I have watched it grow over the last five years there too. So come on Ozzies (Australians) rattle the tin for BD. If he is ever in Australia put him down as a MUST SEE!! Regards

  3. Hello! I hope you are doing well! I have a problem where I cannot utilize this new 20 digit code to upgrade food cost pro. No where in the program does it have fields to enter or change the key. Can you or anyone help me in this matter?

    Thanks for your help!

  4. I was wondering what the right temperature is to cook a thin hand tossed crust pizza in a blodgett stone oven? I usually cook it at 550 degrees and oftentimes the cheese overcooks before the crist does. It takes about 8 minutes to cook.
    Thanks for any insights.

  5. Hi Dave - Food Costs always creeping up. You see the burger chains continually down-size their product. Is that ever a good consideration in the pizza business or is raising the price 50 cents a better option?

  6. Hey Dave...
Having trouble with food cost pro...
When I try to update costing it comes up with an error message that says...
    Floating point division by zero.
Can't seem to find anything about it in the help or on your website. Any ideas?
    Thanks,
